        "content": "<p>Posindo&apos;s new subsidiary<\/p>\n<p>BANDUNG (JP): State postal company PT Pos Indonesia has set up<br>\na subsidiary, PT Prima Teleposmart, to distribute state-owned PT<br>\nTelkom&apos;s telecommunication products and services, an executive<br>\nsaid yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>PT Prima Teleposmart president Srijoto said in Bandung the<br>\ncompany, established last October, had an authorized capital of<br>\nRp 1 billion (US$416,319).<\/p>\n<p>Srijoto said PT Pos Indonesia owned 40 percent of the new<br>\ncompany while PT Teleposindo&apos;s cooperative and pension funds each<br>\nowned 20 percent and the Merdeka Kertaraharja foundation 20<br>\npercent.<\/p>\n<p>The company has started distributing telephone chips made by<br>\nPT Telekomindo and will sell cellular telephones and services at<br>\npost offices soon.
