        "content": "<p>Portuguese reporters deported<\/p>\n<p>KUPANG, East Nusa Tenggara: Three Portuguese reporters<br>\narrested by police for illegally entering East Nusa Tenggara from<br>\nEast Timor were deported to East Timor on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The three reporters from SIC Television, identified as Faria<br>\nFernando Jorge Castro, 28, De Oliveira Ferreira, 29, and Stoffel<br>\nPereira Countinho, 25, were apprehended in the North Timor Tengah<br>\ntown of Mota Ain, which is adjacent to East Timor, the head of<br>\nthe local immigration office, Gatot Suharyono, said.<\/p>\n<p>\"They were apprehended as they were interviewing an East<br>\nTimorese figure living in East Nusa Tenggara,\" Gatot was quoted<br>\nby Antara as saying.<\/p>\n<p>He said the three entered Mota Ain from Dili, the capital of<br>\nEast Timor, on Feb. 2 without asking permission from the local<br>\nimmigration office, although they possessed a visa from the<br>\nIndonesian consulate in Darwin, Australia.
