        "content": "<p>Popeye's ties up with Popindo<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The New York-based fastfood chain Popeye's has<br>\nexpanded into Indonesia's fast growing restaurant market in<br>\ncooperation with local restaurant operator PT Popindo Selera<br>\nPrima.<\/p>\n<p>The company's local partner said on Wednesday that the first<br>\nIndonesian outlet was opened on Jalan Agus Salim, Jakarta on<br>\nMonday.<\/p>\n<p>The global restaurant chain, which booked total sales of about<br>\nUS$1 billion last year, will open four more outlets in the<br>\ncapital next month and another five in Bandung, West Java.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the cooperation agreement signed with Popeye's<br>\nInternational, Popindo should open at least 56 Popeye's outlets<br>\nin five years.
