Poor discipline of road users<\/p>\n

In the present era of openness, many community members,
\nparticularly drivers of motorized vehicles, are inclined to
\nviolate traffic signs, not to mention parking vehicles in
\nprohibited areas. They take up almost all parts of the roads,
\nsuch as what you can see in front of Pasar Hayam Wuruk Indah in
\nJakarta.<\/p>\n
Drivers frequently violate road signs, especially at road
\nintersections when the traffic lights turn red. They stop their
\nvehicles after the white line, instead of before it.<\/p>\n
They usually observe traffic regulations only in the presence
\nof traffic policemen. When there are no traffic policemen in
\nsight, they cross the white line to try to get to the front of
\nthe queue so that they can move on the moment the traffic lights
\nturn green.<\/p>\n
This action can be dangerous at dusk or at dawn, the time when
\nmost public transport drivers defy the forbidden line, forcing
\notherwise obedient drivers to do the same, unless they want to be
\n\"terrorized\" by the noisy honking of horns or allow themselves to
\nbe rudely overtaken. Hero Plaza's intersection in Bekasi is a
\ngood example of where this goes on.<\/p>\n
Therefore, some traffic policemen should be deployed there to
\nensure that drivers observe traffic regulations and no longer
\nillegally cross the white line of a road. Many drivers do not
\ncare much about adhering to this regulation. Or, perhaps, they
\nare simply ignorant of this particular traffic regulation?<\/p>\n
