        "content": "<p>Pondok Kelapa named best subdistrict<\/p>\n<p>Pondok Kelapa subdistrict in East Jakarta has been named as<br>\nthe winner of the city village contest for the 1994 fiscal year<br>\nand will receive First Lady Tien Soeharto&apos;s trophy, a cash prize<br>\nof Rp 400,000 (US$184) and a village bank loan of Rp 5 million.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement was made by the Deputy Governor for<br>\nAdministrative Affairs, Idroes, in his office on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Second place went to Kebon Jeruk subdistrict, West Jakarta,<br>\nwith East Tebet, South Jakarta, coming in third, South Petojo<br>\nsubdistrict, Central Jakarta, coming in fourth and the Warakas<br>\nsubdistrict, North Jakarta, finishing fifth. All of the chiefs of<br>\nthe winning areas will have the honor of attending the Aug. 17<br>\nIndependence Day celebrations at the State Palace.<\/p>\n<p>Idroes said that Pondok Kelapa&apos;s subdistrict chief, along with<br>\nthe heads of the Subdistrict Resilience Council (LKMD) and<br>\nchairperson of the Family Welfare Movement, will also receive a<br>\nRp 22.5 million package for a haj pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi<br>\nArabia.
