Jakarta (ANTARA) - Pollster Poltracking Indonesia has recommended\nfive agendas to improve the performance of the administration of\nPresident Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka\nfollowing a downward trend in public satisfaction.<\/p>\n
Poltracking Indonesia Senior Researcher Masduri Amrawi said in a\nstatement in Jakarta on Monday that the public trust level of 63.2\npercent remains social capital for the government to carry out\nperformance improvements.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe figure of 63.2 percent is not merely a statistic, but rather\nstrong political and social ammunition for the Prabowo-Gibran duo to\nimmediately execute five strategic policy formulations in order to\ngenuinely boost people\u2019s welfare,\u201d Masduri said.<\/p>\n
Based on Poltracking\u2019s survey conducted on 14-20 August 2026, the\nlevel of public satisfaction with the Prabowo-Gibran administration was\nrecorded at 55.1 percent, while the public trust level stood at 63.2\npercent.<\/p>\n
The satisfaction level shows a downward trend compared with\nPoltracking\u2019s previous surveys.<\/p>\n
Poltracking recorded public satisfaction of 78.1 percent in October\n2025, then 74.1 percent in March 2026, 72.2 percent in May, 58.4 percent\nin July, and 55.1 percent in August 2026.<\/p>\n
By sector, the highest satisfaction levels were in education at 63.9\npercent, social and cultural affairs at 63.7 percent, health at 62.6\npercent, and defence and security at 61.6 percent.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, satisfaction with politics and national stability was\nrecorded at 51.9 percent, law and corruption eradication at 48.3\npercent, and the economy at 41.8 percent.<\/p>\n
To improve government performance, Poltracking recommended five\nagendas, beginning with maintaining people\u2019s purchasing power and\nexpanding employment opportunities.<\/p>\n
Poltracking noted that 44.3 percent of respondents cited the high\nprice of basic necessities as their main concern, while 62.5 percent\nsaid household spending is currently greater than in the previous\nyear.<\/p>\n
The second agenda is to evaluate and sharpen the government\u2019s\npriority programmes, including the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme\nand the Red and White Village Cooperatives (KDMP), so that their\nimplementation delivers more optimal benefits to the public.<\/p>\n
The next agenda includes improving governance and public\ncommunication as well as strengthening law enforcement and corruption\neradication.<\/p>\n
Poltracking also recommended strengthening checks and balances\nmechanisms and harmonising the relationship between the President and\nVice President.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe solidity of Prabowo-Gibran, if balanced with proportional\nparliamentary control, will mature a democratic climate that is both\ndynamic and productive,\u201d Masduri said.<\/p>\n
The Poltracking survey was conducted face-to-face on 14-20 August\n2026 involving 1,220 respondents distributed proportionally across 38\nprovinces.<\/p>\n
