        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has\ntransferred 321 foreign nationals (WNA) secured in the uncovering of an\ninternational online gambling case in West Jakarta to several\nimmigration offices to undergo further examinations.<\/p>\n<p>Spokesperson for the Public Relations Division of Polri, Brigadier\nGeneral Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, stated that the transfer is part of\ndeepening the case and strengthening cross-agency coordination in\nhandling the matter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, the transfer of 321 foreign nationals to several immigration\nexamination locations for further processing has been carried out,\u201d\nTrunoyudo said in his statement in Jakarta on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that 150 individuals were transferred to the Immigration\nDetention House (Rudenim), another 150 to the Central Immigration\nDirectorate, and 21 to the West Jakarta Immigration Office.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, this step is intended to accelerate the immigration\nadministration examination process, identity verification, and tracing\nof the possible involvement of these foreign nationals in the\ninternational online gambling network operating in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis process is still ongoing continuously and simultaneously,\nincluding coordination with immigration authorities for further\nexaminations,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the Polri Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim)\nuncovered an international online gambling operation in the West Jakarta\narea and secured hundreds of foreign nationals from various countries\nsuspected of being involved in the online gambling operations.<\/p>\n<p>The uncovering of this case is part of law enforcement\u2019s efforts to\nstrengthen the eradication of cross-border online gambling, which is\ndeemed increasingly complex and utilises international networks as well\nas digital technology.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to criminal proceedings, the police are also\ninvestigating potential violations of residence permits and misuse of\nimmigration documents by the foreign nationals secured in the\noperation.<\/p>",
