        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Polri emphasises that there is no place in\nIndonesia for online gambling networks or transnational cybercrimes\noriginating from abroad. \u201cPolri is committed to enforcing the law firmly\nso that Indonesia is not used as a base for online gambling bookies or\ninternational scams,\u201d said the Head of Public Relations and Media of the\nPolri Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu\nAndiko, in his statement in Jakarta on Sunday. Polri has demonstrated\nthis commitment by eradicating online gambling practices, including\nthose involving foreign nationals (WNA), following the exposure of an\ninternational online gambling network in West Jakarta, securing a total\nof 321 foreign nationals. \u201cThe eradication of online gambling is a joint\nconcern because it is highly detrimental to society, both socially and\neconomically,\u201d he said. He emphasised that the exposure of the online\ngambling case involving hundreds of foreign nationals is part of the\nimplementation of President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s Astacita programme in\nhandling digital and transnational crimes. \u201cThis is part of the ongoing\nand simultaneous law enforcement implementation carried out by Polri\ntogether with relevant stakeholders,\u201d said Trunoyudo.
