        "content": "<p>Political prisoners learn sewing<\/p>\n<p>SEMARANG, Central Java: Six political prisoners from East<br>\nTimor participate in vocational training courses organized by the<br>\ncorrectional house.<\/p>\n<p>Together with dozens of prisoners from other provinces in<br>\nKedungpane correctional house, the East Timorese learn tailoring<br>\nand craftsmanship, Antara reported yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Prison warden Marsono said instructors had no problem with the<br>\nsix East Timorese because the prisoners were &quot;smart&quot; and quick to<br>\ncommunicate in the Indonesian language.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;No wonder they have been able to become accustomed to their<br>\nnew environment within six months,&quot; he said of the four East<br>\nTimorese transferred from Dili.<\/p>\n<p>The prisoners are Jevensio De Yesus Martin (serving six<br>\nyears), Catur Nino Dalasta Below (12 years), Gregoria Datsuha<br>\nSaldan (life), Fransisco Miranda Branco (15 years), Cinto Das<br>\nNeses Raimundo Alces (10 years), and Filomena Da Selva Ereira (5<br>\nyears).
