Policeman detained over drugging, rape<\/p>\n
BOGOR (JP): Bogor Police have detained a Kedunghalang
\nsubdistrict policeman for allegedly drugging a teenage schoolgirl
\nwho was then reportedly raped, Bogor Police deputy chief Maj.
\nSumarso said on Monday.<\/p>\n
\"We have taken the officer's gun from him. The investigation
\nwill go on, and as long as it goes on, this officer is going to
\nserve as one of my adjutants,\" Sumarso told reporters at the
\nBogor Police Headquarters.<\/p>\n
The officer has only been identified as Al.<\/p>\n
Al reportedly accompanied a businessman, identified only as
\nAn, during a recent rendezvous with the 18-year-old schoolgirl.<\/p>\n
The student began modeling two months ago through the Palar
\nFoundation of Gunung Putri, Bogor.<\/p>\n
At the recent rendezvous, Al reportedly gave her shabu-shabu
\n(crystal methamphetamine), and she lost consciousness.<\/p>\n
The teenager was then allegedly raped by An. The next day she
\ntold residents living around the Palar Foundation that she had
\nbeen raped.<\/p>\n
Angry residents searched for An, but could not find him, and
\nvented their anger by burning down the foundation's building.<\/p>\n
\"There is no solid evidence so far that Al or any other police
\nofficer of mine was involved in the drugging or the rape. We are
\nstill questioning the girl and other witnesses over the drugging,
\nthe rape and arson,\" Sumarso said. (24\/ylt)<\/p>",
