The Bekasi Metro Police have dismantled a rented house used as a\nwarehouse storing 187,570 illegal category G hard\u2011drug tablets in Tambun\nSelatan district, Bekasi Regency, West Java, during a security and\npublic order patrol. \u2018Firm action against the distribution of illegal\nhard drugs is a manifestation of the commitment to maintain public\nsafety and order,\u2019 said Bekasi Metro Police Chief Senior Commissioner\nSumarni in Cigakom, as quoted by Antara, on Wednesday (4\/3). The head of\npolice explained that the case was revealed following information from\nthe public and followed up by patrols at two high\u2011risk points, Jalan\nWarung Doyong Kebon Kelapa and Jalan Kampung Cibuntu, Tambun Selatan.\nThe patrol, led by Sumarni, suspected a young man at Jalan Warung\nDoyong, Kampung Kebon Kelapa. After inspection, authorities found 18\nsheets (180 tablets) of tramadol, 27 clips (108 tablets) of Hexymer, and\nproceeds amounting to Rp1,287,000.<\/p>\n
The authorities conducted an initial interrogation of the suspect,\nidentified by initials AR, which led to a rented house suspected of\nstoring illegal hard\u2011drug stock. Police promptly carried out a search\nand seized valuable evidence in large quantities, including 136 bottles\n(136,000 tablets) of Hexymer, 28 bottles (28,000 tablets) of Double Y,\n2,267 sheets (22,670 tablets) of Try X, and 80 sheets (800 tablets) of\nTramadol.<\/p>\n
\u2018Total evidence reached hundreds of thousands of illegal hard\u2011drug\ntablets believed ready for distribution and targeting teens and the\ngeneral public. We also seized an iPhone, a red Honda Vario motorcycle\nwith plate B 5707 FJZ, and two Bank BCA ATM cards,\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n
The suspect, a resident of Kampung Kebon Kelapa RT 006\/RW 003, Desa\nTambun, Tambun Selatan, was immediately detained and handed over to the\nSatresnarkoba unit of the Metro Bekasi Police for further legal\nprocessing. The chief of police assured that the crackdown on illegal\ndrug networks would extend to their roots, alongside continued patrols\naimed at preventing public order disturbances such as clashes and street\ncrime.<\/p>\n
