Agus Suryonugroho has warned logistics transport entrepreneurs not\nto operate over-dimension vehicles during the 2026 Ketupat\nOperation.<\/p>\n<p>Meeting at the JTMC Jasa Marga building in Bekasi, West Java, early\nSaturday morning, he stated that based on CCTV observations conducted\nwith Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi and Jasa Marga Chief Executive\nRivan A. Purwantono, over-dimension vehicles were still found passing\nthrough toll roads.<\/p>\n<p>He urged entrepreneurs to prioritise the implementation of the\nKetupat Operation, which aims to secure safe travel during the 2026 Eid\nholiday exodus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Ketupat Operation is a humanitarian operation focused on safety\nand smooth traffic flow. This is a matter of worship that we hope to\nachieve,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Minister has ordered strict enforcement. So, we may issue fines,\nwe may detain drivers, we may impound vehicles. We are prepared with all\nthese alternatives,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The government has implemented operational restrictions on freight\ntransport during the Eid travel period on 13-29 March 2026 to ensure\nsmooth holiday traffic flow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFreight transport operational restrictions during the Eid travel\nperiod are implemented continuously from 13 March 2026 at 12:00 local\ntime until 29 March 2026 at 24:00 local time,\u201d said the Directorate\nGeneral of Land Transport at the Transport Ministry, Aan Suhanan.<\/p>\n<p>However, goods distribution may still be carried out using two-axle\nvehicles, except for mineral products such as soil, sand, stone, mining\nproducts, and building materials such as steel, cement, and timber.<\/p>\n<p>Freight vehicles exempted from restrictions or permitted to operate\nwith three or more axles include those transporting fuel and gas,\nlivestock, fertiliser, and disaster relief supplies.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, essential goods may be transported provided that the\nvehicles used do not exceed the payload and dimensional limits specified\nin a contract or agreement between the cargo owner and the transport\nentrepreneur.<\/p>",
