Police to search for more boys' bodies<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Siswanto, the alleged sodomizer and murderer of
\n11 boys, yesterday admitted killing another boy in Jakarta,
\nincreasing the number of missing bodies to at least four.<\/p>\n
Siswanto had earlier confessed to sodomizing and murdering
\nnine street boys in Jakarta and two in Central Java.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, he confessed he had killed another boy in Jakarta.
\nThe police have since said that the features of the latest
\nmissing boy do not match any of the eight bodies found.<\/p>\n
Siswanto, a scavenger, is now being examined by a psychiatrist
\nat the Central Jakarta Police station.<\/p>\n
Central Jakarta Police Chief Lt. Col. Abubakar Nataprawira
\nconfirmed he had received two reports of missing children from
\ntheir parents in Jakarta.<\/p>\n
\"We are now searching for more bodies since the features of
\nthe reported missing boys does not match any of the eight bodies
\nfound,\" Abubakar told The Jakarta Post<\/p>\n
He said Siswanto had admitted sodomizing and killing Abdilla,
\n10, and Abdul Rasyid, 11, after he saw pictures of the boys.<\/p>\n
Abdilla's father Rahmat, who went to the police station
\nyesterday, fainted when Siswanto said he had killed his son.
\nRahmat had shown Siswanto a picture of Abdilla.<\/p>\n
Abdilla, a shoeshine boy at Senen market, Central Jakarta,
\ndisappeared on May 26. He was living with his aunt, Soliha, on
\nJl. Kembangan in the Kwitang subdistrict, Senen.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, Siswanto admitted that he had killed another boy,
\nRasyid, after Rasyid's mother, Rokiyah, arrived at the police
\nstation looking for Siswanto.<\/p>\n
Rokiyah screamed and shouted at Siswanto when he admitted
\nkilling Rasyid.<\/p>\n
\"He deserves the death penalty,\" she cried.<\/p>\n
The mother said that Siswanto was her neighbor at the Gaplok
\nmarket in Senen. She said she had been looking for Rasyid since
\nlast year.<\/p>\n
Witnesses had said that Siswanto had picked up Rasyid at his
\nelementary school, she said. Initially, the police thought that
\nRasyid was one of the eight dead boys found in the city, but the
\npolice have since said he was not one of them.<\/p>\n
Central Jakarta police detectives arrested Siswanto at a
\nrailway station in Tegal, Central Java, on July 27.<\/p>\n
Four of the eight boys whose bodies have been found were
\nkilled at the defunct Kemayoran airport in Central Jakarta. The
\nother four were found in Pondok Kopi, East Jakarta. (jun)<\/p>",
