        "content": "<p>Investigators from the Subdirectorate of State Security at the\nDirectorate of General Criminal Investigation, Metro Jaya Police, will\nexamine journalist and presenter Aiman Witjaksono today, Thursday\n(2\/4\/2026). The Head of Public Relations for Metro Jaya Police, Senior\nCommissioner Budi Hermanto, stated that the examination of Aiman relates\nto the case of allegations of a fake diploma belonging to the 7th\nPresident of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). \u201cThe plan today is for\nAiman to be examined at the Subdirectorate of State Security,\nDirectorate of Criminal Investigation, regarding the diploma case,\u201d Budi\ntold Kompas.com on Thursday. \u201cThe latest confirmation is that Aiman will\nattend as a witness,\u201d Budi added. Separately, Aiman conveyed that during\nthe examination, he will provide a legal opinion regarding his position\nas the editor-in-chief of one of the private television stations. \u201cI\nwill provide a legal opinion related to my position as editor-in-chief,\nwhich is a press entity,\u201d Aiman said when contacted separately on\nThursday. However, the delivery of this legal opinion is planned not to\nbe given directly by Aiman, but represented by the legal team from his\ntelevision station. Previously, another journalist, Karni Ilyas, was\nalso examined on Monday (30\/3\/2026). \u201cMetro Jaya Police has designated\neight suspects in the case of defamation, slander, hate speech, and\nelectronic data manipulation reported by Mr.\u00a0Ir. H. Joko Widodo,\u201d said\nthe Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri, during a\npress conference at Metro Jaya Police Headquarters on Friday\n(7\/11\/2025). In general, the eight suspects are charged under Article\n27A and Article 28 of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law\n(ITE), as well as Articles 310 and\/or 311 of the Criminal Code, with a\nmaximum prison sentence of six years. These suspects are then divided\ninto two clusters according to their actions. The first cluster is also\ncharged under Article 160 of the Criminal Code for incitement to commit\nviolence against public authorities. Eggi Sudjana, Kurnia Tri Royani,\nRizal Fadillah, Rustam Effendi, and Damai Hari Lubis are placed in this\ncluster. As the case progresses, the suspect status of Eggi Sudjana and\nDamai Hari Lubis was revoked after a Termination of Investigation Order\n(SP3) was issued. The two resolved their cases through restorative\njustice. Then, Rismon Sianipar from the second cluster also followed the\nsteps of Eggi and Hari.
