Many hardcore criminals are<br>\nincarcerated at the island, a number of whom have been released<br>\nand are employed at the prison's garden and rice fields.<\/p>\n<p>\"Chief of the Central Java Provincial Police May. Gen. Harimas<br>\nA.S. received the order from the National Police headquarters to<br>\nprepare the troop,\" Chief of the Banyumas Police Col. Bambang<br>\nMunarso told The Jakarta Post over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>According to Bambang, the police will take turns making their<br>\nrounds.<\/p>\n<p>Coordinating Minister for Political Affairs and Security gen.<br>\n(ret.) Soesilo Soedarman said the government will retain the<br>\nisland's function as a high security prison.<\/p>\n<p>The project will have a three-year probational phase.
