        "content": "<p>The police have announced that they will deploy a Forensic Laboratory\n(Labfor) team to investigate the cause of the fire that struck the\nPullman Hotel in the Tanjung Duren Selatan area, West Jakarta, on\nSaturday morning (1\/8). As of now, the exact cause of the fire remains\nunconfirmed.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief of Grogol Petamburan Police, AKP Reza Aditya, stated that\nthe Indonesia Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (Inafigu) team\nfrom the West Jakarta Metro Police had already arrived at the scene to\nconduct an initial inspection. \u201cFor the time being, the cause [of the\nfire] is not yet known for certain. The forensic team will subsequently\nbe deployed to the location,\u201d Reza said in Jakarta on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Reza added that the results of the further investigation by the\nforensic team would be announced once the on-site process is complete.\nHe noted that while the Inafis team from the District Police has already\nvisited the site, the forensic experts would follow to provide more\ndetailed information.<\/p>\n<p>The fire was reported on Saturday morning at the hotel located in the\nGrogol Petamburan area. The West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service\n(Gulkarmat) responded swiftly after receiving the report at 07:59 WIB.\n\u201cWe dispatched officers just one minute after the report was received,\u201d\nsaid the Head of West Jakarta Gulkarmat, Syaiful Kahfi.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 14 fire engines and 70 personnel were deployed to the\nscene to extinguish the flames. The firefighting operation began\nintensively at 08:05 WIB, and the fire was successfully contained within\na short period. Since 08:15 WIB, officers have been conducting cooling\nprocesses to ensure no remaining hotspots could trigger a secondary\nfire. The incident response status is currently categorised as\n\u2018yellow\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>There has been no official statement regarding the total material\nlosses resulting from the incident. However, preliminary suspicions from\nthe Fire and Rescue Service suggest that the fire may have been\ntriggered by electrical issues. Police and firefighters remain on-site\nto ensure the investigation and handling are fully completed.<\/p>",
