        "content": "<p>Police to arrest Papua leader<\/p>\n<p>JAYAPURA, Irian Jaya: Police have vowed to arrest Papua<br>\ncommunity leader Theys Eluay for allegedly being behind the<br>\nhoisting of the separatist Morning Star flag in the easternmost<br>\nprovince on Dec. 1.<\/p>\n<p>A source told Antara here on Wednesday that police had<br>\nofficially summoned the self-claimed Papua leader. &quot;But he failed<br>\nto respond, therefore we will pick him up soon,&quot; the source, who<br>\nrequested anonymity, said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the source, six other people will also be<br>\narrested for initiating a separatist flag hoisting ceremony in<br>\nfront of the Irian Jaya Art Center here.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Police may use force if they refuse to respond to the new<br>\nsummons,&quot; the source said.<\/p>\n<p>Theys Eluay had earlier claimed to be the man to blame for the<br>\nceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Jayapura Police chief Lt. Col. Daud Sihombing confirmed the<br>\nplan to arrest Theys.<\/p>\n<p>Theys was actively gathering people for meetings prior to the<br>\nflag hoisting ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Some have accused Theys of misusing innocent people to further<br>\nhis political ambitions.
