        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the\nNorth Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Ari Galang Saputro, stated that the raw\nmaterial for the narcotic drug etomidate was brought by the perpetrator,\na foreign national (WNA) from China with initials HC (51), from his home\ncountry before being processed at several locations used as home\nindustries in North Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccording to the suspect\u2019s confession, the material he ordered from\nabroad, namely from China,\u201d said Ari in Jakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, he said, the investigation and prosecution process is\nstill ongoing. Officers are still delving into the case and\ninvestigating how the raw material for the illicit goods could enter\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Ari mentioned that the perpetrator claimed to have a turnover of up\nto Rp40 million in one drug transaction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe monthly turnover is still being calculated because there are\nstill some items that have not been distributed,\u201d Ari stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom developments at two different locations, police again seized\nseveral pieces of evidence including raw materials and etomidate vape\ncartridges belonging to the suspect HC (51),\u201d Ari explained.<\/p>\n<p>Officers then developed leads to the second location and found\nseveral empty cartridges suspected to be used by the suspect to fill\nwith etomidate substances.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen, officers developed leads to the third location and found\nhundreds of etomidate vapes that were already packaged and ready for\ndistribution,\u201d Ari revealed.<\/p>\n<p>His side also found six packets of raw materials suspected to be used\nto make the etomidate vapes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also found items of production equipment used by the suspect to\ncook and fill, so that the vape cartridges could be distributed,\u201d Ari\nadded.<\/p>",
