        "content": "<p>Bandung, VIVA \u2013 West Java Police have seized hundreds of items deemed\npotentially disruptive to security ahead of the Persib Bandung versus\nPersijap Jepara match in the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) stadium,\nBandung.<\/p>\n<p>Public Relations Head of West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar)\nKombes Pol Hendra Rochmawan said police would take firm action against\nany violations that could disrupt the match or spectator safety.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The items secured include 151 flares, 100 silver strobes, one strong\nred flare, 11 mercon, 20 petasan, seven bottles of alcohol (miras), and\n20 identification cards. The total number of items seized amounts to\n310,\u2019 Hendra said in Bandung on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>He explained checks began at 07:30 WIB, targeting the stands,\nconcourses, and even the stadium restrooms.<\/p>\n<p>From the sweep, officers found hundreds of items deemed dangerous and\npotentially capable of triggering security breaches during the\nmatch.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Safeguards are being implemented to ensure the game proceeds safely,\nin an orderly and conducive manner. We urge all supporters not to bring\nflares, firecrackers, alcohol or other dangerous items into the stadium\narea,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the sweeps, thousands of joint personnel were deployed\nto guard the match and the potential euphoria of Bobotoh outside the\nstadium.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Hendra noted that 3,391 personnel were on standby to\nsecure the Persib vs Persijap match at GBLA. A further 1,010 personnel\nwere deployed to police the supporters\u2019 euphoria outside the\nstadium.<\/p>\n<p>For the victory parade security, authorities prepared 2,883 combined\npersonnel.<\/p>\n<p>He added that coordination continues with all relevant parties to\nanticipate potential security disturbances during the match or\ncelebrations.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We hope the public and Bobotoh can cooperate to keep the situation\nsafe and orderly for everyone\u2019s comfort,\u2019 he said.
