        "content": "<p>Polda Metro Jaya and Bank Mandiri have reactivated the account\nbelonging to Supriyono alias Botok, coordinator of the Pati United\nCommunity Alliance (AMPB). The blocking of Botok\u2019s account had\npreviously gone viral and drawn widespread public attention after being\ndeemed unilateral and lacking transparency.<\/p>\n<p>Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirkrimum) of Polda Metro\nJaya, Senior Commissioner Iman Imanuddin, said the police had completed\ntheir investigation into the account, which contained funds raised for a\ndemonstration by Pati residents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have obtained legal facts from the relevant parties regarding the\ndonations and the account in question. Subsequently, the suspension of\nthe account can be lifted and it returns to the authority of Bank\nMandiri,\u201d he said during a press conference held by House of\nRepresentatives Commission III at the DPR Building in Jakarta on\nWednesday (26\/8\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>He said the account suspension was carried out to ensure that the\ndonated funds collected came from sources that did not violate the law.\nThe measure was taken to protect both donors and donation\nrecipients.<\/p>\n<p>The suspension of account transactions, he added, may be carried out\nfor up to five working days as stipulated in Law Number 8 of 2010\nconcerning the Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money\nLaundering.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday has not yet reached five working days.
