The motorcycle had previously been\nseized during a raid on a stolen motorcycle warehouse disguised as a\nscrap metal shop.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe handover of the vehicle took place at the Cileungsi Police\nStation and was witnessed by a number of police officers,\u201d said\nCileungsi Police Chief Kompol Edison on Saturday (21\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The raid took place earlier this week. A number of motorcycles were\nseized, including one belonging to the victim whose vehicle has now been\nreturned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe motorcycle owner came directly to the Cileungsi Police Station\nafter seeing a social media post about the case. He reported that his\nmotorcycle had gone missing in the early hours of Tuesday, 4 February\n2026, at approximately 01:00 Western Indonesian Time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>A number of other stolen motorcycles remain in police custody. Edison\nurged members of the public who have had motorcycles stolen to come to\nthe station with proof of ownership.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe ask members of the public who have lost motorcycles to come to\nthe Cileungsi Police Station promptly, bringing their vehicle documents\nto verify ownership,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the victim, Muhamad Rifki Falah, said he had purchased the\nmotorcycle outright with cash. He expressed his gratitude that the\nmotorcycle had been recovered.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope that in the future, the police will continue to succeed in\nmaintaining security,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, police had raided a stolen motorcycle storage facility on\nJalan Raya Narogong, Dayeuh Village, Cileungsi District, Bogor, West\nJava. The warehouse had been set up to resemble a scrap metal shop.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Cileungsi Police Station Operations Team uncovered a warehouse\nsuspected of being used to store stolen motorcycles,\u201d said Cileungsi\nPolice Chief Kompol Edison on Monday (16\/2).<\/p>\n<p>Edison revealed that the investigation began when officers spotted a\nman carrying a motorcycle with a broken ignition lock. Suspicious, they\nfollowed the man to the location.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the outside, the warehouse looked like a scrap metal trading\npost,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Police then conducted an inspection of the scrap metal shop.\nAccording to Edison, five motorcycles suspected of being stolen were\nfound on the premises.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOfficers discovered five motorcycle units hidden behind a blue\ntarpaulin. All vehicles had damaged locks and were suspected to be the\nproceeds of theft,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
