        "content": "<p>Bengkulu (ANTARA) - A team of investigators from the Corruption Crime\nDirectorate of the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of the\nBengkulu Provincial Police conducted searches at the Soeprapto Special\nMental Hospital (RSKJ) and the Provincial Financial and Asset Agency of\nBengkulu Province in connection with alleged corruption in the\nrecruitment of non-civil servant (non-ASN) personnel.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Head of the Corruption Sub-Directorate of the Special\nCriminal Investigation Directorate of the Bengkulu Provincial Police,\nCommissioner Muhammad Syahir Fuad Rangkuti, stated in Bengkulu on\nTuesday that the searches were part of the investigative process to\ngather and strengthen evidence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a series of investigative processes carried out by\ninvestigators regarding the case,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Based on preliminary investigation results, during the 2023-2024\nperiod, the management of RSKJ Soeprapto allegedly recruited a total of\n93 non-ASN personnel in stages.<\/p>\n<p>The recruitment took place after the government issued Government\nRegulation No.\u00a049 of 2018 on the Management of Government Employees with\nWork Agreements and Law No.\u00a020 of 2023 on Civil Servants, which prohibit\nappointing non-ASN personnel by personnel management officials.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe regulation states that personnel management officials are\nprohibited from appointing non-ASN employees, yet it was still carried\nout,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the appointment process, the management allegedly used two\nmethods, namely payments of certain amounts of money and accommodating\nreferrals from certain parties,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The search lasted approximately six hours. Investigators seized\nseveral documents, files, and electronic devices, which were\nsubsequently taken to the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate\noffice of the Bengkulu Provincial Police for further examination.<\/p>",
