        "content": "<p>Police officer kills partner<\/p>\n<p>PALANGKA RAYA, Central Kalimantan: A police officer<br>\naccidentally shot and killed his friend during a fight with a<br>\ngroup of men on Thursday morning, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Second brigadier Hanafi, 24, was killed by a stray bullet<br>\nafter his partner second brigadier SGO unintentionally fired his<br>\ngun, a police officer, who declined to be named, said.<\/p>\n<p>The officer said the incident began after five drunken men<br>\nstarted a commotion in the city's Bukit Sungai red-light<br>\ndistrict.<\/p>\n<p>Hanafi and SGO intervened but when SGO went for his gun, one<br>\nof the drunken men hit his hand with a beam, causing the gun to<br>\ndischarge, the officer said.<\/p>\n<p>Postmortem reports said Hanafi died of two wounds in his neck.<br>\nHe also sustained injuries to his left cheek and both arms.<\/p>\n<p>The five men are at large, while SGO has been detained by<br>\npolice internal affairs. -- Antara<\/p>",
