        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Police have named five suspects in the case of\nalleged prostitution involving underage girls at a karaoke venue in the\nDaan Mogot Street area, North Kedoya, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta\n(Jakbar). \u201cAt present, we have detained five suspects,\u201d said the Head of\nthe Women\u2019s and Children\u2019s Protection and Anti-Human Trafficking Unit\n(PPA-PPO) of the Metro Jakarta Barat Police Resort, Kompol Nunu Suparmi,\nwhen contacted in Jakarta on Thursday (14\/5). She stated that her unit\nconducted a raid on 9 May 2026, securing 22 people. \u201cThere were LCs\n(lady companions), pimps, and a cashier. Of the 22 secured, two were\nunderage girls with initials F (17 years old) and S (16 years old).\nThese children came from Lampung and Bogor,\u201d Nunu revealed. She\nmentioned that the entertainment venue held a licence as a karaoke\nbusiness, but there were suspicions of prostitution practices there.\n\u201cYes, we received reports that it was a karaoke place, with a karaoke\nlicence. But after our examination, it turned out that prostitution was\nbeing arranged by the owner,\u201d Nunu said. The victims, she added, had\nbeen working there for two to three years. \u201cAt present, we are still\nconducting investigations and developing leads to find other suspects,\u201d\nNunu stated.
