        "content": "<p>TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Metro Police have named 45 people as\nsuspects following a riot after the protest in front of the parliament\ncomplex on Thursday, August 27.<\/p>\n<p>The police\u2019s director of General Crimes Investigation, Senior\nCommissioner Iman Imannudin, said the police have identified the\nsuspects in six clusters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBased on evidence and witnesses gathered during the investigation,\nwe have now named 45 people as suspects for vandalism and assault, and\nthree as suspects for the misuse of sharp weapons,\u201d Iman stated at a\npress conference in Jakarta on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>He detailed that the first cluster comprises 153 minors (under 18\nyears old), who have been handed over to the Sub-Directorate for the\nProtection of Women and Children and Human Trafficking (PPA and TPPO) of\nthe Jakarta Metro Police\u2019s Criminal Investigation Directorate for\nfurther investigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis group consisted of 25 school dropouts, two 12-year-olds, one\n13-year-old, three 14-year-olds, 23 15-year-olds, 47 16-year-olds, 64\n17-year-olds, and 10 18-year-olds, three of whom were girls,\u201d explained\nIman.<\/p>\n<p>The second cluster included 91 adults categorized as ordinary\nrioters. Meanwhile, the third cluster consisted of 71 individuals\nsuspected of vandalizing public facilities and assaulting people after\nthe demonstration, of which 45 have been named suspects.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the fourth cluster included three individuals caught\ncarrying sharp weapons during the riot, all of whom have been named\nsuspects.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to these four groups, investigators found evidence of a\nfifth cluster acting as mobilizers and financiers, and a sixth cluster\ntasked with recruiting the masses to instigate the riots.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInvestigators are also probing those who exploit children for\nillegal activities.
