        "content": "<p>Bandung (ANTARA) \u2014 The Bandung Metropolitan Police Resort is\nconducting a thorough investigation into the death of Muhammad Fahdly\nArjasubrata, a student at SMAN 5 Bandung, who allegedly became a victim\nof mob violence on Cihampelas Street, Bandung on Friday, 13 March.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease trust Bandung Metropolitan Police to conduct further\ninvestigation and inquiry into this incident,\u201d said Acting Head of\nBandung Metropolitan Police Kombes Pol Adi Wijaya in Bandung on\nSunday.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the case is currently being handled by the Criminal\nInvestigation Unit of Bandung Metropolitan Police.<\/p>\n<p>He also urged the public not to be provoked and hoped that no further\nconsequences would emerge from the incident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope that from last night\u2019s incident, there will be no secondary\neffects that could occur later,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, an amateur video recording showing a clash in the\nCihampelas area went viral on social media. The video showed a man,\nallegedly the victim of mob violence, lying on the roadside.<\/p>\n<p>Coblong Police Chief Riki Erickson previously mentioned that\npreliminary indications suggest the incident involved students from SMAN\n5 Bandung and SMAN 2 Bandung.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, a student from SMAN 5 Bandung has died, and it is currently\nbeing handled by Bandung Metropolitan Police,\u201d said Riki.<\/p>",
