From the photo posted on social media, the cow dung was seen in\nfront of a shop-house (ruko). The narration mentions several vendors who\nwere terrorised, including a plastics shop and a motorbike\nsteam-cleaning place. It is suspected that the intimidation was carried\nout to force the vendors out. This is evidenced by a banner reading\n\u2018Dilarang Berjualan di Sini A*****\u2019 placed in front of the shop. When\nasked for confirmation, Pasar Rebo Police Sector (Kapolsek) Kompol I\nWayan confirmed the incident. The police had also checked the location.\n\u2018At the time of the incident, police officers from the sector headed to\nthe location. The kiosk owner had not filed a report,\u2019 he said. Wayan\nsaid the cow dung was thrown in front of the shop-house. The shop itself\nwas not targeted. \u2018It was not the shop that was pelted, but the cow dung\nin front of the shop used by street vendors to sell,\u2019 he said. Wayan\nsaid the incident happened only once so far. He added that the stalls\nthat were pelted with cow dung were usually used by street vendors (PKL)\nto sell vegetables and cakes. \u2018This is the first time. Every morning\nthere are vendors selling vegetables and cakes there,\u2019 he added. He\nadded that they are still investigating the incident, including the\nmotive of the perpetrators.
