The Metro Jaya Regional Police have interrogated a model and makeup\nartist (MUA) and influencer identified by the initials AWS, who had been\nalleged to be the victim of a mugging in the West Jakarta area. Police\npublic relations chief Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto said, \u2018We emphasise that\nthe person in question was not the victim of a mugging or any other\ncriminal act.\u2019 The interrogation was conducted with the Directorate of\nWomen and Children Protection (PPA) and PPO, together with Satres PPA\nPPO West Jakarta and Kebun Jeruk Police Sector, and accompanied by UPT\nP3A and Psychology, including the Metro Jaya Police\u2019s Forensic Medical\nUnit (Dokkes).<\/p>\n
He added that the inquiry had visited the site this afternoon and\nconducted in-depth examinations, leading to the conclusion that the\nperson was not a victim of a criminal incident. The statement was\nreinforced by clarification from the management of Rumah Sakit Sumber\nWaras Jakarta Barat, which noted that there has been no record of the\nname AWS in the hospital\u2019s records in the last month.<\/p>\n
He also urged the public to be prudent on social media and avoid\nspreading misleading information that could cause disruption in digital\nand public spaces.<\/p>\n
Earlier, police had not found the name of a model with the initials\nADV in the Rumah Sakit Sumber Waras patient database after the model was\nalleged to have become a mugging victim on the Kebon Jeruk toll road in\nWest Jakarta (Jakbar) on Saturday (16 May).<\/p>\n
On Threads social media account @hmzr39<\/span>, the model was described as having\nbeen the victim of a mugging while returning home after a photo shoot\naround 00:00 WIB. However, while returning home via a ride-hailing\nservice, the victim was said to have been mugged and sustained a head\nwound, and was taken to Rumah Sakit Sumber Waras, Grogol Petamburan,\nWest Jakarta.<\/p>\n Kapolsek Kebon Jeruk Kompol Nur Aqsha said they had conducted joint\ninvestigations with Palemah and Grogol Petamburan Police Sub-Precincts.\nHowever, the victim\u2019s family, who publicised the alleged mugging, did\nnot specify the exact location. \u2018So, the place described as the Kebon\nJeruk toll roadside is long, from the Tomang area to near Tangerang; it\nis still part of the Kebon Jeruk Toll Road,\u2019 Aqsha said when contacted\nin Jakarta on Monday (18 May).<\/p>",
