Police hunt for real robber<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): The City Police have assigned a special team to
\nhunt down an alleged bank robber to make amends for the wrongful
\nshooting dead of an innocent man on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
A mobile detective told reporters on Sunday the team had
\nsearched the house of the suspect, identified as Robi alias Yudi,
\n26, in the Gondrong area in Cipondoh, Tangerang, but the man had
\nalready escaped.<\/p>\n
City Police chief Insp. Gen. Mulyono Sulaiman ordered the
\nimmediate capture of Robi after West Jakarta Police officers shot
\ndead Yudianto on Jl. Raya Semanan in Kalideres. The officers said
\nthey thought Yudianto was Robi.<\/p>\n
Yudianto was running after a group of thieves who had just
\nstolen his TV set when the incident took place.<\/p>\n
A Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital official said Yudianto,
\n31, a father of an eight-month-old infant, was shot in the head,
\nbetween his eyebrows.<\/p>\n
