Police find 600 kg of drugs<\/p>\n
TANGERANG: The Tangerang police found on Friday 600 kilograms
\nof marijuana during a search of a house in Perum Sinta Griya
\nRaya, Nusajaya subdistrict of Tangerang municipality, but no
\narrests were made.<\/p>\n
The Tangerang Police chief of detectives of the violent crime
\nsection, Second. Insp. Gani Alamsyah, said the main suspect,
\nRichard Cassiva, was very shrewd and the object of a police
\nsearch since January 2001.<\/p>\n
\"We have been looking for him since he was renting a house in
\nthe Liga Mas housing complex on Jl. Imam Bonjol in 2001,\" he
\nsaid.<\/p>\n
He said the latest information the police obtained was that
\nRichard along and his accomplices, Erwin Tantowi and Cecep, were
\nrenting the house in Perum Sinta Griya Raya and the police had
\nbeen surveilling the house for three weeks.<\/p>\n
When the suspects failed to show up as of last Friday, the
\npolice, accompanied by the local neighborhood chief and several
\nsecurity officers, searched the house and found the drugs.<\/p>\n
The police said Richard ordered marijuana from
\nTengku Umar Komarudin, who is still at large in Banda Aceh. The
\nmarijuana was sent to Tangerang through the Sabang Mandiri
