The Lampung Regional Police Narcotics Criminal Investigation\nDirectorate has dismantled a home-based narcotics industry producing\nmethamphetamine and ecstasy pills in South Lampung. The illegal business\nwas being operated across several rented units in the Natar area, South\nLampung.<\/p>\n
The disclosure was carried out by Sub-directorate II of the Lampung\nRegional Police Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate, led by\nAKBP Wahyudi Sabhara, at the Rajawali Residence Complex, Candimas,\nNatar, South Lampung. During the operation, police arrested several\nsuspects and seized ecstasy pill-pressing equipment.<\/p>\n
Lampung Regional Police Narcotics Director, Kombes Dodi Suryadin,\nexplained that the discovery began following reports from the community\nstating that the area was frequently used for narcotics abuse. Based on\nthis information, police immediately conducted surveillance starting on\nThursday (27\/08\/2026).<\/p>\n
\u201cOur team immediately conducted observations and surveillance\nregarding the information from the community. Around 12:00 WIB, we\napproached the residence of Eka Pradinasta, 33, an entrepreneur, at the\nRajawali Residence rental and secured him,\u201d said Kombes Dodi in a\nstatement on Sunday (30\/08).<\/p>\n
At the location, police found methamphetamine pipes, digital scales,\ngreen powder, and dozens of ecstasy pills. Following this, investigators\nexpanded their investigation to a second location, where they\napprehended a man named Andika Sandi (37) and a woman with the initials\nYDS (29).<\/p>\n
\u201cAt the second crime scene, we secured AS and a woman with the\ninitials YDS, 29,\u201d said Dodi.<\/p>\n
Investigators found that the perpetrators were producing the ecstasy\npills themselves. Evidence seized included methamphetamine pipes, one\npacket of blue powder, two blue ecstasy pills, half a grey ecstasy pill,\none small plastic clip containing methamphetamine, a set of ecstasy\npill-pressing equipment, and three Android mobile phones.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was discovered that AS was pressing a number of ecstasy pills\nusing ecstasy-based materials and a pill-pressing tool,\u201d Dodi\ndetailed.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, police continued their investigation to a third crime\nscene, apprehending suspects Hadi Pranoto (35) and MS (21). At this\nlocation, police seized raw materials in various colours, including\nblue, green, pink, grey, and brown, as well as additional ecstasy\npressing tools.<\/p>\n
Dodi stated that there were a total of five search locations in this\nsingle series of operations. At the fourth and fifth crime scenes,\npolice arrested the couples AS (36) and SF (43), as well as RS (33) and\nFA (28). The perpetrators, Dodi continued, were operating in very close\nproximity.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll five crime scenes are located close to each other within the\nsame block and complex,\u201d he revealed.<\/p>\n
The suspects and evidence have been taken to the Lampung Regional\nPolice Headquarters for further investigation. Dodi confirmed that the\nauthorities are still investigating the involvement of other individuals\nand tracing the distribution network of the products from this home\nindustry.<\/p>\n
