        "content": "<p>Jakarta - The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has designated drug\ncourier Akhsan Al Fadhil, alias Genda, as a suspect following his arrest\non 24 February 2026. Genda operated as part of a narcotics syndicate\nheaded by Erwin, also known as Koko Erwin.<\/p>\n<p>Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of the Narcotics Crime\nDivision at Polri\u2019s Criminal Investigation Command, explained that the\ndesignation resulted from an investigation into Erwin\u2019s involvement in\nthe abuse and distribution of Class I methamphetamine in the Bima region\nof West Nusa Tenggara.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBased on the examination of suspect Erwin, it was established that\nhis narcotics distribution activities were not conducted alone, but in\ncollaboration with an associate named Akhsan Al Fadhil, alias Genda,\u201d\nEko stated during a press briefing confirmed in Jakarta on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Following this finding, a joint task force from the Narcotics\nDivision and the National Intelligence Agency conducted surveillance and\ntracking operations targeting Genda. Through information technology\nanalysis and location tracking, authorities discovered that Genda was\nattempting to flee to Pekanbaru, Riau Province.<\/p>\n<p>On 24 February 2026, the combined task force conducted sweeps in the\nPekanbaru area. \u201cAt approximately 22:00 WIB, the team successfully\napprehended a male individual identified as Akhsan Al Fadhil, alias\nGenda, at a food stall located on Jl. SM Amin, Pekanbaru, Riau,\u201d Eko\nreported.<\/p>\n<p>During initial interrogation, Genda revealed that he had previously\ntransported 1.5 kilogrammes of methamphetamine obtained from a contact\nknown as \u201cBos Aceh\u201d (Boss Aceh) for distribution in Bima. The\nmethamphetamine was transported from Jakarta to Bima via road using a\nToyota Raize vehicle belonging to Erwin.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival at Marina Inn Hotel in Bima at approximately 20:00\nCentral Indonesian Time, 500 grammes of methamphetamine were brought by\nGenda to room number 415 for reweighing and storage. \u201cThis 500-gramme\nquantity was subsequently collected by Senior Police Commissioner\nMalaungi, the Narcotics Division head of Bima City Police,\u201d Eko\ncontinued.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining one kilogramme of methamphetamine was reportedly\ncollected by an individual named Awan.<\/p>\n<p>Following the designation of the suspect, Polri will continue\ninvestigating the wider network involved in the syndicate and conduct\nforensic examination of evidence at the National Police Forensics\nLaboratory.<\/p>\n<p>The case remains connected to allegations involving Senior Police\nCommissioner Didik Putra Kuncoro, who received a dishonourable discharge\non 19 February 2026.<\/p>",
