The\nagency has confirmed that the investigation it previously conducted was\nnot motivated by criminalisation. Head of Operations at Kortastipidkor,\nSenior Commissioner Ahmad Yusuf Afandi, asserted that the entire legal\nprocess carried out by investigators adhered to prevailing regulations.\nAs the handling of the case is now with the Attorney General\u2019s Office,\nhe requested that questions regarding the substance of the further\ninvestigation be directed to investigators at that institution. \u201cThere\nis no criminalisation. Therefore, regarding the further investigation\nand its material, please ask the Attorney General\u2019s Office,\u201d Yusuf told\nreporters on Tuesday, 21 July 2026. Yusuf also declined to comment\nfurther on the case\u2019s construction or the alleged involvement of Febrie\nin the suspected corruption case at PT Asabri. According to him, all\nauthority for handling the case now rests with the Attorney General\u2019s\nOffice following the transfer process. \u201cThe entire handling of the case\nhas been handed over to the Attorney General\u2019s Office. Following\nthe transfer, the Attorney General\u2019s Office formed a special team\ncomprising nine senior prosecutors to continue handling the case.
