        "content": "<p>Police have dismantled a drug distribution operation in Teluknaga,\nTangerang Regency, Banten, successfully apprehending one suspected drug\ndealer.<\/p>\n<p>Tangerang City Metro Police Chief Commissioner Raden Muhammad Jauhari\nsaid the case was uncovered by officers from the Pakuhaji Sector Police.\nThe raid was conducted at a house in Kampung Bojong Renged on Saturday\n(14 February).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe operation was carried out on Saturday morning, 14 February 2026,\nat a house in Kampung Bojong Renged, Teluknaga District, Tangerang\nRegency,\u201d Jauhari told reporters on Saturday (21 February 2026).<\/p>\n<p>Jauhari stated that combating narcotics remains a top priority in\nsafeguarding national security and protecting the younger generation. He\nsaid his office would not tolerate any drug distribution activity in the\narea.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not give any room to narcotics distributors. Whether they\nare dealers or users, all will be processed in accordance with\nprevailing law,\u201d Jauhari said.<\/p>\n<p>Pakuhaji Sector Police Chief Adjunct Commissioner Prapto Lasono\nexplained that the case originated from a community tip-off regarding\nsuspected narcotics abuse at the location. Acting on the information,\nthe Criminal Investigation Unit of Pakuhaji Sector Police, led by Unit\nChief Inspector Arqi Afiandi, immediately launched an investigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the raid, officers found four men inside the house \u2014 ZM (43),\nMR (25), MA (23) and MF (24),\u201d Prapto explained.<\/p>\n<p>He said the search uncovered five plastic clip packets containing\nwhite crystals suspected to be methamphetamine with a gross weight of\n2.55 grammes. Officers also seized five mobile phones, three wallets,\none smoking device (bong) and one modified lighter as evidence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPreliminary laboratory results confirmed that the evidence tested\npositive for methamphetamine,\u201d Prapto said.<\/p>\n<p>Prapto further explained that based on initial questioning, ZM is\nsuspected of being the owner and supplier of the seized substances \u2014\neffectively the dealer \u2014 whilst the other three were users. ZM allegedly\nobtained the methamphetamine from another dealer identified only as S,\nwho remains a fugitive.<\/p>\n<p>ZM has been charged under Article 114 Paragraph (1) of Law No.\u00a035 of\n2009 on Narcotics and\/or Article 609 Paragraph (1) Letter (a) of the new\nCriminal Code (Law No.\u00a01 of 2023), with applicable criminal penalties.\nThe three other individuals detained as users will undergo assessment\nfor rehabilitation in accordance with prevailing legislation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will continue to develop the case to uncover the network above\nand hunt down the fugitive involved in this distribution ring,\u201d Prapto\nadded.<\/p>",
