The police have intervened to assist with the evacuation and\nhandling process.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports on Thursday (3\/9\/2026), personnel from the East\nJava Regional Police, Sidoarjo City Police, and local sub-district\npolice stations were deployed to the boarding school and several\nhospitals where the students are receiving treatment. Officers also\nprovided security and escorts for ambulances transporting students to\nhospitals, while managing traffic to ensure the evacuation process\nproceeded smoothly so that victims could receive immediate medical\nattention.<\/p>\n<p>At the Manbaul Hikam boarding school, the East Java Regional Police\nMedical Team (Dokkes) and Sidoarjo City Police also provided initial\nmedical treatment. The school\u2019s mosque was utilised as a temporary\nlocation for the examination and handling of students experiencing\nhealth symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>Sidoarjo City Police Chief, Commissioner Christian Tobing, expressed\nhis concern regarding the incident. In addition to the students at\nManbaul Hikam, several students from other schools were also reported to\nhave experienced similar symptoms after consuming MBG meals provided by\nSPPG Kalitengah, in the Tanggulangin District.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are deeply concerned about the incident experienced by the\nstudents. We hope their health conditions improve quickly and they\nreturn to health,\u201d said Christian Tobing.<\/p>\n<p>Christian stated that the Sidoarjo City Police deployed personnel\nfrom various functions, including the medical team.
