Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Mobile Criminal Investigation Unit (Satresmob\nBareskrim Polri) of the Indonesian National Police has acted upon a\npublic report received through its dedicated channel, \u201cBang Resmob,\u201d by\narresting two suspects in connection with the alleged kidnapping and\nunlawful detention of a man in Jakarta.<\/p>\n
Head of Satresmob Bareskrim Polri, Commissioner Teuku Arsya Khadafi,\nstated on Sunday that his unit initially received a complaint regarding\nsuspected acts of kidnapping, hostage-taking, and assault via \u201cBang\nResmob\u201d on May 14, 2026.<\/p>\n
The police subsequently issued an investigation order based on the\npublic report and visited Wijoyo Showroom Motor in Cakung District, East\nJakarta, on the same date.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe police then successfully located the victim, identified as RNA,\nwho was being held captive on the second floor of Wijoyo Showroom\nMotor,\u201d said Arsya.<\/p>\n
In addition, he stated that the police arrested two suspects,\nidentified by their initials AB and RN, and seized evidence, including\nthree mobile phones.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe police then handed over the victim, the suspects, and the\nevidence to the Cakung Police Precinct, the East Jakarta Metropolitan\nPolice, and the Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
