Police arrested two narcotics dealers with initials WA and M in\nJagakarsa, South Jakarta. A total of 28,243 units of prescription drugs\nwere confiscated.<\/p>\n
The sequence of events began on Friday, 13 March 2026 at 21:00 WIB.\nInitially, the Narcotics Crime Unit (Satresnarkoba) of South Jakarta\nMetro Police Headquarters received information from members of the\npublic regarding a store selling or distributing prescription drugs in\nthe Jagakarsa District area, specifically on Papaya Street and Raya\nStreet, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were able to apprehend two suspects alleged to be store\nattendants with the initials WA and M,\u201d said Narcotics Crime Chief of\nSouth Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters AKBP Prasetyo Nugroho during a\npress conference at South Jakarta Police Headquarters on Sunday, 15\nMarch.<\/p>\n
Prescription drugs from Schedule G list totalling 3,095 units were\ndiscovered at the initial location. Upon further investigation, police\nvisited a rented room on Belimbing Street, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe found several types of prescription drugs totalling approximately\n25,148 units. According to the store attendant WA, these drugs were sold\nat prices ranging from 5,000 to 40,000 Indonesian rupiah, generating\napproximately 200,000 Indonesian rupiah in daily profits,\u201d he\nstated.<\/p>\n
Based on statements from the perpetrators, the drugs originated from\nindividual A, who is suspected of being the owner of the medications and\nthe proprietor of the shop. Individual A is currently listed as a wanted\nperson (DPO).<\/p>\n
The modus operandi involved selling prohibited drugs under the guise\nof mobile phone shops and convenience stores. Both suspects had been\noperating in this manner for one year.<\/p>\n
\u201cFirst there was the mobile phone shop, then the convenience store,\nwith the drugs concealed and hidden illegally within these retail\nestablishments. The two perpetrators we investigated have only been\nrunning this operation for one year at this location,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
Confiscated evidence included 37 units of psychotropic substances,\n100 units of Trihexyphenidyl 2 mg, 2,380 units of Hexymer, 60 units of\nTramadol, 18 units of Double Y, and 8,355 various Schedule G category\ndrugs from the second location, totalling 28,243 units.<\/p>\n
