Police arrest naked couples<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): A dozen of uniformed police officers stormed the
\nTonight Bar, which is allegedly also used as a massage parlor,
\nand arrested four naked couples last week, police said yesterday.<\/p>\n
Police also detained a suspected panderer.<\/p>\n
Newly-appointed City Police spokesman Bambang Permantoro told
\nreporters yesterday that all of the suspects had been handed over
\nto the crime investigation directorate for further questioning.<\/p>\n
According to the head of the operational affairs bureau of the
\non-the-alert police directorate, Capt. Syaiful Bd., who led the
\noperation, the bar girls arrested in the raid were aged about 17.<\/p>\n
\"They are among dozens of young girls offered by the bar to
\ncustomers,\" he said.<\/p>\n
Syaiful said there were dozens of bars and massage parlors in
\nJakarta which police suspect offer prostitutes and private rooms
\nto their customers.<\/p>\n
Syaiful said that the raid was conducted on the basis of a
