Police arrested five students on Jalan Raya Bojong Nangka, Gunung\nPutri District, Bogor, West Java. The students were suspected of\npreparing to stage a brawl.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe incident began when the police received information from members\nof the public about a group of students suspected of planning to carry\nout a brawl in the area,\u201d said the Head of Gunung Putri Police, Police\nCommissioner Hillal Adi Himawan, on Tuesday (8\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n
The incident occurred on Monday (7\/9). Following up on the\ninformation from the public, officers immediately moved to the location\nwhere the students had gathered.<\/p>\n
\u201cThanks to the officers\u2019 rapid response and the public\u2019s vigilance,\nfive students were secured before the brawl could take place,\u201d he\nexplained.<\/p>\n
The five students were aged 17, 14, 14, 15 and 13 respectively. A\nsharp weapon in the form of a machete was also seized from the\nstudents.<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring the operation, officers also found a number of items believed\nto be connected to the incident, namely one machete, one mobile phone\nand two motorcycles,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
The five students were then taken to the police station for further\nquestioning. They were also asked to give statements regarding the\nincident.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe call on parents, schools and the wider community to work together\nto supervise and educate children so they do not become involved in\nbrawls.
