Police and military comb Lido resort<\/p>\n

It's not even the weekend, but the traffic to Lido resort is
\nunusually heavy on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The joint team of Bogor Police and military started combing
\nthe area on Tuesday that borders Sukabumi, West Java, which is a
\nstrategic access point that could be used by terrorist group
\nmembers led by Noordin Moh. Top to reach Jakarta.<\/p>\n
The team stopped each vehicle that passed Jl. Raya Bogor -
\nSukabumi, which is only two kilometers from the residence of Mira
\nAgustina, the wife of terrorist al-Farouq who escaped a high-
\nsecurity U.S. prison in Afghanistan earlier this month.<\/p>\n
The only vehicles the team didn't check were public minivans.<\/p>\n
The team also inspected rented houses and rooms, hotels,
\nvillas and entertainment centers.<\/p>\n
Bogor Police chief Sr. Comr. Tjiptono said that the operation
\nwas also aimed at limiting the movement of the terrorist group.<\/p>\n
"This area is in the vicinity of Mount Peti Jampang and
\nPelabuhan Ratu port, which was once used as a base to recruit and
\nto train new members for the group," he revealed.<\/p>\n
He further said that the group usually rented a house in a
\nsuburban area using pseudo names.<\/p>\n
"We ask people in the area, especially religious leaders, to
\nhelp us watch out for people who do not reveal where they work
\nand who don't go out much but still have money to eat and to
\nshop," Tjiptono said.<\/p>\n
Bogor's Surya Kencana Military Command chief Col. Edhy Riyanto
\nadded that people should watch out for newcomers, encouraging
\nthem to file a report on their presence immediately with the
\npolice.<\/p>",
