        "content": "<p>PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) has planted 27,000 trees in\nvarious regions as an effort to support a healthier environment for the\ncommunity. The programme was carried out through 58 PNM branches across\nIndonesia, with each branch planting at least 500 tree seedlings.<\/p>\n<p>PNM Managing Director Kindaris stated that tree planting is part of\nthe company\u2019s commitment to expanding community empowerment, not only\nthrough access to capital and business mentoring, but also through\nenvironmental conservation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOverall, 27,000 trees have been planted as a simple but meaningful\nstep to create a healthier environment for the community, where they\nlive, work, do business, and build their family\u2019s future,\u201d Kindaris said\nin Jakarta on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the movement is part of the company\u2019s efforts to\nsupport sustainable development, particularly in addressing climate\nchange and preserving terrestrial ecosystems.<\/p>\n<p>With the spirit of #PNMuntukUMKM and #PNMPemberdayaanUMKM, PNM is\nalso continuing various social programmes that have been previously\nimplemented. One of these is the RE3 FOR-E programme, which successfully\ncollected 20 tonnes of wearable clothing from PNM personnel to be\ndistributed to people in need. The programme also distributed reading\nbooks to support improved literacy.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, PNM runs the PNM Mengajar programme, which reaches 58\nvocational high schools from Sabang to Merauke.<\/p>\n<p>Kindaris said that care for the community can be realised in various\nforms, ranging from basic needs assistance and educational support to\nefforts to protect the environment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor PNM, empowerment is not only about helping people develop their\nbusinesses, but also about safeguarding the living space where they\ngrow.
