PT Pertamina Marine Solutions (PMSol) is strengthening its Health,\nSafety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) management through the\nutilisation of digital technology. This initiative includes the\ndigitalisation of HSSE induction processes for ship crews and outsourced\npersonnel prior to onboarding.<\/p>\n
The digitalisation covers all induction stages, ranging from\nregistration and the uploading of supporting documents\u2014such as Medical\nCheck-Up (MCU) data and training certificates\u2014to pre-tests, a Training\nDemo Room, post-tests, and the issuance of a digital HSSE Passport.<\/p>\n
Whilst the HSSE induction process previously relied on physical\ndocuments, including MCU results and training certificates, the entire\nprocess is now integrated digitally through the official HSSE Induction\nwebsite. This system does not merely convert physical documents into\ndigital formats but also enables workers to complete induction stages\nindependently via mobile devices or computers.<\/p>\n
Every worker is required to participate in an interactive tour of the\ndemo room as part of the introductory module. Following this, workers\ncan complete administrative tasks, training materials, and final\nexaminations (post-tests) using their own devices. Once all stages are\ncompleted, the system automatically issues a digital HSSE Passport\naccessible to the respective worker.<\/p>\n
This digitalisation also simplifies field supervision. Supervisors no\nlonger need to inspect documents individually; instead, they can simply\nscan the barcode on a worker\u2019s digital card. Health status and training\nhistory can be displayed within seconds.<\/p>\n
In addition to administrative efficiency, the digital system is\nequipped with a specialised reporting barcode feature. This feature\nallows workers to report indications of misconduct or fraud more easily\nand quickly, supporting a clean and safe working environment.<\/p>\n
PMSol is also developing several other digital innovations, such as\nthe Digital Medical Check-Up (MCU) to manage the health examination\nprocess comprehensively, as well as P-HORSE, or the Pertamina HSSE\nOnline Reporting System Excellence.<\/p>\n
P-HORSE supports the reporting of Unsafe Acts and Unsafe Conditions,\nas well as integrated follow-up monitoring.
