        "content": "<p>Moscow (ANTARA) - Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has affirmed that\nhis country is not, and never will be, a member of the \u201ccoalition of the\nwilling\u201d supporting the conflict in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs Prime Minister of Slovakia, I hereby officially declare that\nSlovakia has never been, is not, and never will be a member of the\n\u2018coalition of the willing\u2019 supporting the war in Ukraine. As head of\ngovernment, I have never taken part in any meeting of that military\nalliance,\u201d Fico said via his social media account on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, on Thursday (23\/7), the Slovak newspaper euBrief\nreported, citing the French Embassy in Slovakia, that the country was\nalleged to have joined the \u201cCoalition of the Willing for Ukraine\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Fico said he had personally spoken with the French Ambassador to\nSlovakia and asked him to ensure that the French Embassy does not spread\nincorrect information.<\/p>\n<p>According to Fico, the French Ambassador to Slovakia confirmed that a\nmisunderstanding had occurred and that this would be communicated to the\npublic.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, members of the \u201cCoalition of the Willing for Ukraine\u201d\ngathered in Paris to discuss support for Kyiv.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cCoalition of the Willing for Ukraine\u201d was initiated by France\nand the United Kingdom in February 2025 to support Ukraine\u2019s sovereignty\nby maintaining a ceasefire in the country. Around 35 countries have\njoined the initiative.<\/p>\n<p>Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov described the \u201cCoalition of the\nWilling\u201d as a coalition of warmongers. According to Peskov, the\ncoalition is a group of countries that do not want peace.<\/p>",
