This measure is being taken to\nanticipate changes in electricity consumption patterns as community\nactivity increases in tourist areas, shopping centres, hotels, public\nfacilities, and residential zones.<\/p>\n<p>General Manager of PLN\u2019s Java, Madura, and Bali Load Control Unit\n(UIP2B Jamali), Munawwar Furqan, stated that through 24-hour operation\nof the electrical system every day, PLN ensures the system management\nprocess runs safely, reliably, and efficiently so that the public can\nenjoy their holiday comfortably. System reliability is the result of\ncollaboration among all PLN personnel, including dispatchers who are at\nthe forefront of system operations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe dispatcher\u2019s task is not merely monitoring computer screens.\nEvery decision taken must be based on accurate technical analysis,\nintensive coordination, and collaboration between units so that any\npotential disruption can be anticipated early and system recovery can be\ncarried out quickly if necessary,\u201d Munawwar said.<\/p>\n<p>As the unit responsible for managing the electric power system\noperations in West Java, PLN UP2B Jabar plays a role in maintaining the\nbalance between supply and demand, controlling power flow on the\ntransmission network, and ensuring the system operates in optimal\ncondition. Behind this process, dispatchers work 24 hours a day from the\noperations control room to monitor system conditions and make quick\ndecisions when changes or potential disruptions occur.
