        "content": "<p>State electricity company PT PLN (Persero) has successfully driven\nthe transformation of the practice workshop at SMK Dinamika Jakarta into\na Teaching Factory for Motorcycle Engineering, in support of developing\nelectric vehicle competencies.<\/p>\n<p>General Manager of PLN\u2019s Java, Madura and Bali Load Control Centre\n(PLN UIP2B Jamali), Munawwar Furqan, said that through the Electric\nVehicle Conversion Upgrading programme, students not only gain more\nmodern learning facilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are also able to improve their competencies, to the point that\nsome teachers and students have been entrusted to become assessors for\nelectric motorcycle conversion certification,\u201d Munawwar said in a\nstatement on Monday, 10 August 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The transformation is a form of collaboration between the education\nsector and industry in preparing human resources capable of meeting the\nneeds of the energy transition and the development of the electric\nvehicle ecosystem in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Munawwar said the potential of the younger generation will flourish\nwhen supported by the right ecosystem. According to him, synergy between\neducation and industry is one of the keys to producing competent human\nresources to face future challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeeing the school continue to grow and be able to produce graduates\nwith recognised competencies is certainly a source of pride as well as\nmotivation for PLN to continue delivering programmes that provide\nlong-term benefits,\u201d Munawwar said.<\/p>\n<p>The programme was implemented by PLN UIP2B Jamali through the DKI\nJakarta and Banten Load Control Unit (UP2B Jakban), by providing\npractical equipment assistance while opening up learning access that is\nmore relevant to the needs of the electric vehicle industry.<\/p>\n<p>The impact of the programme is now clearly visible. The practice\nworkshop, which previously only functioned as a learning space, has\ndeveloped into a Teaching Factory for Motorcycle Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>Students no longer merely study the theory of electric vehicle\nconversion, but are now able to carry out practice according to industry\nstandards, produce work, and build an increasingly professional work\nculture.<\/p>\n<p>The development has even exceeded expectations. A number of teachers\nand students are now entrusted to be part of the electric motorcycle\nconversion certification assessors in Kota Duri. This achievement shows\nthat support through the TJSL programme not only increases school\ncapacity, but also produces recognised competencies and provides wider\nbenefits.<\/p>",
