Innovations are also expected
to have clear benefits, long-term development plans, and contribute to
the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

All submitted innovations will go through a series of selection
processes, from administrative selection, preliminary rounds,
semi-finals, finals to feasibility checking. Direct field reviews are
also conducted for innovations that pass to the final stage to assess
their readiness and development potential.

“To maintain the independence of the assessment, PLN involves experts
and practitioners in the fields of sustainability, community
empowerment, education and the environment,” Gregorius stressed.

As a form of appreciation and implementation support, winners from
each category will receive mentoring to realise their innovations in the
field.
