        "content": "<p>PLN retains UBS Singapore's service<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: State-run electricity company PT PLN announced on<br>\nFriday that it has decided to retain the services of UBS AG<br>\nSingapore to facilitate the purchase of part of the outstanding<br>\nsenior secured debt of Dayabumi Salak Pratama Ltd (DSPL).<\/p>\n<p>The debt consists of both loans and bonds, PLN said in a<br>\nstatement, but it did not specify the amount.<\/p>\n<p>DSPL, a subsidiary of American energy firm Unocal Corp.,<br>\noperates a 165-Megawatt (MW) geothermal power plant on Mount<br>\nSalak, West Java.<\/p>\n<p>PLN purchases DSPL's debt through a portion of the claimed but<br>\nunpaid invoices over power supplies from the latter to the PLN.<br>\n-- JP<\/p>",
