        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT PLN (Persero) has regained control of a\nstrategic plot of land in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, valued at more than\nRp380 billion, which had been illegally occupied by other parties for\ndecades.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis asset has existed since 1980, but it has been controlled by\nother parties in the meantime. Alhamdulillah, with good synergy, we have\nbeen able to save this asset,\u201d said General Manager of PLN UIP West\nJava, Yasir, during the handover of the asset certificate in the\nGandaria area, Kebayoran Lama, Jakarta, on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The recovered asset consists of a plot of land measuring nearly\n20,000 square metres (m\u00b2) located on Jalan Daan Mogot, Cengkareng. The\nland was known to have been freed by PLN since 1980.<\/p>\n<p>However, over time, the asset was seized by other parties without\nrights and exploited illegally for years.<\/p>\n<p>After intensive coordination and legal assistance, the asset was\nfinally secured. An official certificate for the land has been issued by\nthe National Land Agency.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Head of the West Jakarta District Prosecutor\u2019s Office,\nNurul Wahida Rifal, emphasised that legal assistance is an important\npart of resolving state asset disputes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPT PLN officially requested legal assistance from us. We then\nfollowed it up until the trial process, and alhamdulillah, we won the\ncase,\u201d said Nurul.<\/p>\n<p>Nurul views this moment as a form of saving state assets, and her\noffice is committed to assisting state-owned enterprises and local\ngovernments in resolving legal issues in the fields of civil and state\nadministrative law.<\/p>\n<p>The recovery of this asset is expected to strengthen synergy among\ngovernment agencies and provide legal certainty for the management of\nstate assets, so that they can be utilised optimally for the public\ninterest.<\/p>",
