        "content": "<p>PLN postpones repairs on network<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The state electricity company, PLN, has decided not<br>\nto make any repairs on the Java-Bali interconnection network<br>\nbetween May 22 and June 5 due to yesterday's election.<\/p>\n<p>The decision was made to avoid blackouts in areas serviced by<br>\nthe Java-Bali network, said the company's president director,<br>\nDjiteng Marsudi. A widespread blackout occurred on April 13 in<br>\nareas the network services.<\/p>\n<p>He inspected the security of power supplies at PLN's Gandul<br>\ntransmission center and load-control in Cinere on Wednesday,<br>\nAntara reported on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>All necessary repairs had been completed, he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said the decision conforms with the standard operating<br>\nprocedure for safeguarding the Java-Bali interconnection,<br>\nregarding activities of either national or international scale.<br>\n(anr)<\/p>",
