"summary": "PT PLN's Jakarta distribution unit has assured that electricity supply throughout Jakarta and surrounding areas remains secure during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, despite peak demand projected to reach 5,545 MW (5.5 GW), an increase of 5.86 per cent compared to the same period in 2025. The utility maintains substantial power reserves and has deployed personnel, equipment, and emergency posts at strategic locations, including special monitoring of 519 mosques and key sites such as Istiqlal Mosque and the Presidential Palace. Peak demand is expected to decrease by approximately 2,000 MW on Eid al-Fitr itself as residents undertake mudik (exodus) migration to their hometowns.",
